To our Dogtown family,

In an abundance of caution and to do our part to help slow the transmission of COVID-19, for the safety of our team and our clients, we will be temporarily closing our Brickell location and suspending in-home services starting tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17th. Coconut Grove will remain open. This is not a decision that has come easily for us, as we pride ourselves on being trusted support for your families. However, it is also our social responsibility to help fight the spread of COVID-19, and the best way to do to this is by social distancing. The sooner we all take party in this practice, the sooner we will push through this and come out stronger.

Our ‘Paddle with Your Pups’ event is postponed and a new date will be released in the coming weeks. Our Grove location will remain open 7 days a week from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday. 9:30 am to 5:30 pm on Saturday and 11:30 am to 6:30 pm on Sunday. We will be planning to return to our regular hours on Monday, March 30th. However, due to all the uncertainty that date may change, hopefully to something sooner.

We can work with you to make special arrangements should you need pick-up/drop-off outside of these hours or transportation between our locations for hotel. Please contact anai@barkfetchrun.com so we can accommodate your request.

Our Grove location will be open for all services. Our caretakers will still be on-site caring for the pups as regularly scheduled 7:30 am to 7:30 pm, 7 days a week, we will just have limited hours open to the public.

Daycare and Hotel will be provided in Coconut Grove to all customers. If you need to pick-up after we close at 2:30 pm, we can accommodate. We can pause ‘Weekday Daycare Unlimited’ subscriptions by request.

Wash Me Wednesday’s and Sudsy Sunday’s will continue and be provided through our Grove location. For grooming we will have more availability in Coconut Grove and understand that the commute may be further than accustomed for our Brickell clients but you will receive the same level of service, from the groomers you know and love and you’ll continue to support your local small business and our employees through this hard time.

Some temporary changes to our procedures for these coming weeks.

  • We will not be keeping or storing personal items, all items including leashes, collars, etc must be removed and kept by you. We will accept food containers and bedding for hotel only.
  • We ask that you set up Apple Pay, or your wireless payment method on your phone to avoid exchange of cards. As always receipts are sent digitally to your email.
  • Cleanliness has always been a top priority at Dogtown however we are now throughly sanitizing door knobs, register, key boards, pens, surfaces, etc. after each use and 30 minutes. Your health and safety and that of our team is a top priority.

We kindly ask that if you or someone in your home is sick, or has traveled in the last 2 weeks to areas that have been heavily affected by COVID-19, you remain at home.

The secondary crisis we will soon be facing is that of the economic impact mostly to our local small businesses. Please continue to support small businesses like ours in your community. Order in from your fave restaurants, purchase tickets or passes for future events or classes from your gyms, yoga studios. Buy local art. We are all in this together. We will be offering discounts on gift cards through a fun game later this week, that’s a great way to continue to support us and save some money on future services.

Stay safe, Dogtown fam. Stay grounded and wash your hands.
