Dogtown Associate

Summary

We are seeking a passionate dog lover to join our team at Dogtown, Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for providing loving care to dogs while their owners are away. Your commitment to animal welfare will play a vital role in upholding our company’s values and ensuring that every pet receives the attention they deserve.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily care for dogs, including feeding, walking, and administering medication as needed.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all pets in your care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment for the animals.
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ needs and behaviors.
  • Monitor the health and behavior of pets, reporting any concerns to management.
  • Engage with pets through playtime and exercise to promote their physical and mental well-being.

Requirements

  • Experience in animal handling or pet care is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects as required for pet care tasks.
  • Knowledge of basic animal care practices is a plus.
  • A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being.

Professional Dog Groomer

We are regarded as some of the best dog groomers in Miami. Do you possess the skills and qualities to join our amazing team? Our approach to grooming is not of your traditional grooming salons. We provide holistic grooming services, always putting the dogs’ needs first. We do not demat, muzzle, or otherwise do any services on dogs that do not put the dogs’ best interests at heart.

If you’re ready to move to a place you’ll be at for the rest of your career, apply today. We are looking for a skilled professional dog groomer with a minimum of 3 years of professional dog grooming experience, but above all, someone who is KIND and genuinely loves their profession.

Hours and Schedule: Wednesday to Saturday, 8:30 am to 3:30-4:30 pm. 25-30 hours a week. You must be able to commute to both Coconut Grove and Brickell, as your schedule alternates locations every week. There are no free parking options in Brickell.

Pay: Our groomers average $50,000.00 – $80,000.00/year. $15.25/hour + 25% Commission to start, higher earning potential for groomers with over 10 years experience and proven speed and skills during initial 90 day period. Full Tips. Groomer experience and speed are the main contributors to earning potential.

PTO: One week of paid vacation at the end of the year.

Benefits: We will pay to have your tools sharpened and maintained once a quarter. Free dog hotel, daycare for your own family dogs.

Responsibilities:

– Professionally groom dogs to clients’ preferences and expectations.

– Clearly communicate any obstacles, challenges with clients.

– Clearly communicate expectations for the groom.

– Maintain a clean work environment at all times.

Qualifications:

– Must have at least 3 years of professional dog grooming experience.

– Must pass a qualification interview that entails professionally grooming dog(s) at our location.

– Must have at least a dozen before and after photos of work to apply.
